Highway Engineer

We are looking for a detail-oriented highway engineer designs, plans, constructs, and maintains roads, highways, bridges, and other transportation infrastructure, ensuring safety, efficiency, and sustainability. Key responsibilities include site inspections, developing cost estimates and project timelines, using computer-aided design (CAD) software, collaborating with stakeholders, and overseeing construction to ensure compliance with regulations and standards.

Design highways, bridges, and associated infrastructure, considering factors like traffic flow, drainage, signage, and pedestrian/bicycle paths.
Manage and monitor construction projects, ensuring adherence to design specifications, safety standards, and project timelines. Evaluate existing infrastructure, conduct maintenance, and implement improvements to ensure long-term functionality and safety. Strong skills in budget and timeline management, risk assessment, and ensuring projects are completed on schedule and within budget.
