Job Title: Highway Design Engineer

Location: Ahmedabad

Job Type: Full-time

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Highway Design Engineer with a strong background in the design and development of transportation infrastructure projects. The candidate must have over 10 years of experience in the design of State Highways, National Highways and Expressways, with proven leadership capabilities and a deep understanding of relevant design standards and software.

Key Responsibilities:

·        Lead the design and planning of highway and roadway projects including National, State Highways, and Expressways.

·        Develop geometric designs, horizontal and vertical alignments, cross-sections, and junction layouts using tools such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D and OpenRoads.

·        Prepare and review technical reports, drawings, estimates, and project documentation.

·        Ensure compliance with relevant standards and guidelines (IRC, MoRTH, AASHTO, etc.).

·        Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, clients, and stakeholders.

·        Mentor and guide junior engineers and effectively manage design teams.

Required Qualifications:

·        Master’s Degree (ME/M.Tech) in Transportation Engineering or equivalent.

·        Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in highway design and project execution.

·        Strong working knowledge of design software: Civil 3D, OpenRoads, and other relevant tools.

·        Proven ability to prepare and review Detailed Project Reports (DPRs) and feasibility studies.

Key Skills & Competencies:

·        Strong technical abilities, leadership and team management skills.

·        Excellent communication, documentation, and coordination abilities.

·        In-depth knowledge of national highway standards, codes, and specifications.

·        Ability to deliver high-quality outputs under tight deadlines.

·       Highway Pavement Design.

·       Road Safety Audit.
