Role Overview: As a Sales Manager in the Genset Industry, your primary responsibility will be to lead and manage the sales team in promoting and selling Gas genset / diesel generator sets to clients and customers. You will play a crucial role in driving revenue growth, establishing strong customer relationships, and expanding the market presence of the company's products within the industry. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve sales targets and objectives. Collaborate with senior management to align sales efforts with the overall business goals. - Manage and lead a team of sales professionals, including setting targets, providing coaching and training, and conducting performance evaluations. Foster a motivated and results-oriented sales team. - Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, dealers, distributors, and other stakeholders. Understand their needs, address concerns, and provide appropriate solutions. - Conduct market research to identify potential clients, competitors, and emerging market trends. Utilize this information to refine sales strategies and identify new business opportunities. - Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and collaborations to expand the company's customer base and market share. - Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, product demonstrations, and proposals to prospective clients. Effectively communicate the value proposition of the company's diesel genset products. - Develop accurate sales forecasts and budgets. Monitor sales performance against targets and take corrective actions as needed to ensure objectives are met. - Lead negotiations with clients, dealers, and partners to reach favorable agreements. Ensure timely and successful closure of sales deals. - Maintain a deep understanding of the company's diesel genset products, features, and technical specifications. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements. - Generate regular sales reports and performance metrics for management review. Provide insights and recommendations based on the analysis of sales data. - Engage in regular travel to meet with clients, attend industry events, and visit dealers and distributors to strengthen relationships and monitor market trends. Qualification Required: - Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related field (MBA preferred). - Proven experience in sales within the diesel genset industry or a closely related field. - Strong leadership and team management skills. - Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. - Technical knowledge of diesel generator sets and power generation systems. Ability to analyze market trends and customer preferences. - Proficiency in using CRM software and sales analytics tools. - Results-driven mindset with a track record of achieving sales targets. Willingness to travel frequently. - Problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to challenges. - Adaptability to a dynamic and evolving industry landscape.,
