SUMMARY
Job Description
The Chief Technology Officer (CTO) will be responsible for spearheading the digital evolution of the organization by overseeing the development and integration of a comprehensive Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system. This role involves strategizing, designing, and executing the ERP framework across all business functions, including HR, Finance, Operations, Maintenance, Procurement, Asset & Inventory, Compliance, HSE, and Reporting. A primary focus will be harnessing the power of Artificial Intelligence (AI) to facilitate process automation, predictive analytics, and data-driven decision-making, ensuring operational efficiency, compliance, and innovation throughout the enterprise.
AI Strategy & Implementation
- Develop and execute an AI roadmap to facilitate predictive maintenance, safety monitoring, process automation, and advanced analytics.
- Integrate AI and machine learning models into the ERP system for forecasting, anomaly detection, and compliance monitoring.
- Assess and adopt emerging AI tools to enhance productivity, reporting, and decision-making processes.
Process & Compliance
- Ensure that ERP workflows align with regulatory requirements such as ISO, OSHA, and statutory compliance.
- Automate registers, approval chains, and compliance tracking within the ERP system.
- Establish dashboards and reporting mechanisms for effective management oversight.
ERP Transformation
- Translate the company handbook (policies, processes, forms, registers) into ERP workflows and digital modules.
- Lead the end-to-end ERP implementation process, including blueprinting, development, testing, go-live, and optimization.
- Supervise the accurate and compliant migration of data from manual/legacy systems to the ERP database.
Technology Strategy
- Define the ERP architecture, considering options such as cloud, on-premise, or hybrid solutions.
- Evaluate and select the most suitable ERP platform (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Odoo, ERP Next, etc.).
- Ensure seamless integrations with HRMS, Finance, CRM, Operations, Safety monitoring, and Compliance systems.
- Establish robust IT governance, cybersecurity, and disaster recovery protocols.
Leadership & Management
- Lead the internal IT/ERP team and oversee external vendors.
- Drive change management initiatives to ensure comprehensive ERP adoption across the organization.
- Provide training and support to employees on ERP and AI-driven solutions.
- Regularly report project progress and key performance indicators to top management.
Education Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (B.Tech / B.E.) in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
