What You Own (Key Responsibilities) Intake & Scoping: Turn business asks into tight briefs (objectives, channels, deliverables, acceptance criteria, timelines, budgets). Flag compliance early (healthcare claims/consent, AlcoBev surrogate/age-gating, packaging regs). Planning & Capacity: Build the master production calendar across brands/practices; enforce WIP limits; rebalance work early; maintain a vetted freelancer/vendor bench . Creative & Production Oversight: Drive structured reviews from concept/storyboard/copy to first cut/final across mainline (TVC/OOH/Print/BTL) , YouTube/IG , performance creatives , packaging , and web . Channel/Campaign Ops: Ensure publish-readiness (tracking, accessibility, metadata, rights, storage). Coordinate media/production partners and release masters for mainline/BTL. AI & Automation: Design AI assists and micro-apps (brief outline, cut-lists, metadata QA, thumbnail ideation, naming), and automations (Zapier/Make/Apps Script/Python) for intake, approvals, checklists, and reporting with before/after metrics. Quality & Risk: Enforce Definition of Done checklists; brand tone/visual guardrails; legal sign-offs; maintain a risk register with Option A/B and trade-offs. Client Communication: Weekly status packs; milestone reviews; clear expectations; create Value for Money snapshots (scope vs delivered, repurposes, efficiencies). Commercial Hygiene: Track margins, hours vs estimates, POs/vendors, receivables; prevent scope creep with timely change orders. People Leadership: Run 1:1s, coaching plans, and skill shares; set standards without drama; recognize wins publicly, coach privately; keep the team AI-updated . Reporting & Improvement: Publish a weekly Ops dashboard (on-time %, first-pass approvals, iterations, cycle time, utilization, margins, receivables, content KPIs). Lead retros and SOP refresh. Candidate Profile (Must-Haves) 5-8 yrs in digital marketing /creative ops or production with multi-practice exposure (healthcare mainline, D2C, AlcoBev, packaging/design, web/SEO/performance/social). Proven team leadership (8-20 members); sprint planning, throughput, QA, and SOP discipline. Hands-on with AI workflows/automation that saved time and lifted quality (show examples).
