Job Description

Description

We are seeking a highly experienced Head - SCM (Warehouse) to lead our warehouse operations in India. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supply chain management and be responsible for overseeing all aspects of warehouse activities, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and optimal performance.

Responsibilities

Oversee the entire supply chain management process for warehouse operations.
Develop and implement strategies for efficient warehouse management and inventory control.
Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards within the warehouse.
Manage a team of warehouse staff, providing training and support as needed.
Optimize warehouse layout and processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth supply chain operations and timely delivery of products.
Monitor and analyze warehouse performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
Manage relationships with vendors and logistics partners.

Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration or a related field.
10-15 years of experience in supply chain management or warehouse operations.
Strong knowledge of inventory management systems and warehouse management software.
Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Proficient in data analysis and performance metrics.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Familiarity with regulatory requirements and compliance in warehouse operations.
