Job Description

Position Objective

To lead and expand the domestic cable and wire sales footprint across West Bengal, driving revenue growth through strategic channel development, customer acquisition, and high-performance team building. The role demands deep market insight, execution excellence, and leadership agility.

Key Accountability:

  • In-Process Quality Checks -

    Ensure product feedback loop from market to QA; validate packaging and labeling standards
  • Final Product Testing -

    Coordinate with QA for field performance validation and customer acceptance testing
  • Documentation & Reporting -

    Maintain sales MIS, customer database, distributor onboarding records, and CRM dashboards
  • Root Cause Analysis -

    Analyze sales drop-offs, channel attrition, and customer complaints; initiate corrective actions
  • Calibration & Lab Readiness -

    Align with technical teams for demo readiness, product trials, and field validation
  • Compliance & Audit Support -

    Ensure sales documentation aligns with GST, WB PT Act, and internal audit protocols

Technical/Functional Expertise

  • Deep understanding of PVC/FR/FRLS cable variants and IS 694 standards
  • Proven experience in retail and institutional channel development
  • CRM and customer database management (Zoho/Salesforce preferred)
  • Sales forecasting, territory planning, and incentive structuring
  • Familiarity with ERP systems for order tracking and invoicing
  • Knowledge of West Bengal market dynamics and distributor ecosystem
