Head Resource Mobilisation

As the Head of Fundraising at Breakthrough, you will be responsible for leading the overall resource mobilization strategy to ensure financial sustainability and enable programmatic and strategic scale. Your role as a key member of Breakthrough's Senior Leadership Team will involve shaping institutional strategy, forging high-impact partnerships, and representing the organization externally with credibility and inspiration. **Key Responsibilities:** - Drive and implement a comprehensive fundraising strategy to support annual and multi-year financial goals. - Lead donor segmentation and portfolio management across various funding sources. - Oversee the design and submission of compelling grant proposals, concept notes, donor reports, and presentations. - Identify and cultivate new funding opportunities to diversify revenue streams. - Build and maintain long-term relationships with existing donors and key prospects. - Represent the organization in donor forums, conferences, and high-level meetings. - Inspire and lead a high-performing fundraising and partnerships team with clarity and empathy. - Collaborate with program, MEL, finance, and communications teams to ensure alignment in grant proposals and reporting. - Contribute to organizational strategy and direction as part of the senior leadership team. **Qualifications Required:** - 13-15 years of relevant experience in fundraising/resource mobilization, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role. - Proven track record of raising grants from diverse donors. - Strong understanding of the social impact space, preferably with experience in gender rights. - Excellent proposal writing, presentation, and storytelling skills. - Strong network across philanthropic and development sectors in India and globally is an advantage.
