To partner with us in this exciting journey and unlock new values for the business, we are looking for passionate professional for the position of Head Projects - Kuraloi (N) Coal Block at Mines Aluminium business. Roles & Responsibilities: Identification of key projects & conceptualization, FSR & DPR approvals and all necessary documentation work along with preparation and finalization of scope of work and other relevant documents To onboard vendors and business partners and look for prospective bidders, technical proposals, commercial offers and partner lock-in as per the organization’s requirements. To prepare budgets for the desired projects and ensure the execution of projects as per the approved budget To ensure contractual delivery of different parts of the project like civil, mechanical, structural etc. as per timeline and quality To look after the planning and development of logistics & infrastructure comprising of Road, Rail, Conveyor, Residential and Mining infrastructure, R&R colony etc. for all the coal blocks. To co-ordinate with Railways and statutory departments for streamlining establishment of railway infrastructure for mines. To co-ordinate with respective internal & external stakeholders for seamless execution of the projects. Responsible for end-to-end project management, commencing from Letter of Intent to completion of project. To ensure that Vedanta’s Safety norms are followed with 100% compliance with all IS standards for all project commissioning activities. Candidate Profile: B.E/ B.Tech. with at least 15+ years of experience, including min. 5 years of experience as Head Project for large scale EPC based projects in Mining business. Leadership exposure in Rail & Conveyor infrastructure projects is desirable. Leadership acumen with external stakeholder engagement and strong interpersonal skills. Show more Show less
