Head Placements

As the Head of Placements and Corporate Relations, you will play a crucial role in leading the Placement & Corporate Interface function of the institute. Your responsibilities will include: - **Strategic Leadership**: - Design and implement placement strategies aligned with the institute's vision and market trends. - **Corporate Relations**: - Develop strong relationships with top-tier companies, startups, and public sector enterprises for placements, internships, and live projects. - Organize industry conclaves, guest lectures, and corporate interactions to boost engagement. - **Placement Operations**: - Oversee the entire placement process, ensuring a seamless experience for both recruiters and students. - **Student Readiness**: - Collaborate with faculty and training partners to prepare students for industry expectations. - Provide guidance on resume building, interview preparation, and group discussion practice. - **Alumni Engagement**: - Utilize the alumni network for placement support, mentorship, and networking opportunities. - **Analytics & Reporting**: - Track placement metrics, generate detailed reports, and present insights to leadership and stakeholders. - **Quantitative Targets**: - Ensure placement of 360 students for final placements and 360 students for summer internships. - Increase the median salary of the placed batch compared to the previous year. Desired Qualifications & Experience: - Postgraduate degree (preferably an MBA or equivalent) from a reputed institution. - 10+ years of relevant experience in corporate relations, placements, business development, or HR. - Strong network across various industries. - Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills. - Proven track record in building and leading high-performing teams.
