We are seeking a dynamic and entrepreneurial
Head of Sustainable Solutions and ESG
to lead our client-facing business and drive the evolution of our proprietary Foresttwin
platform. This is a critical leadership role that combines strategic sales and business development with hands-on operational and product management. The ideal candidate will be a visionary with deep expertise in the sustainable solutions market, a proven track record of securing and delivering complex projects, and a passion for leveraging technology to drive environmental impact.
Key Responsibilities
Business & Platform Strategy
Lead the development and execution of the business strategy for our sustainable solutions, including
BRSR Reporting
, EUDR compliance
, GHG Accounting
, LCA & PDD Studies
, and Biodiversity Risk Assessment
. Act as the business lead for the
Foresttwin
platform, working closely with the product engineering team to define and evolve the platform s features. Provide strategic direction to ensure the platform caters to the entire carbon credit value chain, from project management to marketplace functionality for biochar and related products.
Sales & Client Leadership
Drive all sales and business development activities, from lead generation to contract negotiation and closure.
Serve as the primary point of contact for key clients, acting as a trusted advisor on their ESG and sustainability journey.
Create and deliver compelling sales proposals and presentations that highlight our unique value proposition and the capabilities of the
Foresttwin
platform.
Project & Operations Management
Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of all client projects, with a specific focus on
LCA, PDD, and carbon credit projects
. This includes direct involvement in project development, data collection, verification, and credit issuance. Utilize the
Foresttwin
platform to streamline project management, ensure data integrity, and provide clients with transparent reporting. Lead and mentor a team of sustainability professionals, fostering a culture of technical excellence and client-centric service.
Product Evolution & Innovation
Collaborate with the product engineering team to translate business and market needs into new features for the
Foresttwin
platform. Identify and integrate new technologies and methodologies to enhance the platforms capabilities in areas like
carbon credit management
and the biochar marketplace
. Stay abreast of market trends, emerging technologies, and new regulations to ensure the
Foresttwin
platform and our services remain at the forefront of the industry. Oversee the market positioning and communication for the
Foresttwin
platform, ensuring its value is clearly understood by clients and stakeholders. Qualifications
Education
: A bachelor s or master s degree in Environmental Science, Business, Technology, or a related field.
Experience
: A minimum of 10 years of experience in the sustainability or climate tech sector, with at least 5 years in a leadership role that included both business development and operational oversight.
Technical Expertise
: Proven, hands-on experience with the
end-to-end lifecycle of LCA, PDD, and carbon credit projects
. Deep knowledge of
carbon credit value chains
and related registries ( Verra, Gold Standard, etc.
). Familiarity with the technical and commercial aspects of
biochar and related products
.
Commercial & Leadership Skills
: Demonstrated track record in sales, business development, and client relationship management.
Experience working with product engineering teams and an understanding of software development lifecycles.
Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
A proactive and entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for driving innovation and sustainable solutions.
