Job Description

As a Service Sales Manager at Siemens Energy, you will be responsible for leading and managing the regional Services Client Managers team in India to achieve year-over-year bookings growth and develop the selling organization. Reporting to the Head of Service Sales Asia Pacific for the services compression Business, your role includes the following tasks: - Develop and drive Business Target Agreements (BTA) and set sales targets in coordination with country heads, Business Development Managers, SV strategy, and Regional Leadership team - Maintain an up-to-date sub-regional bookings forecast through the sales team's use of SFDC and assessment of sales funnel - Ensure effectiveness of the client-facing team through time and territory analysis, coaching, developmental needs, and coordination of disciplinary actions - Deploy Services initiatives through selling team individual objectives and metrics to measure progress - Support client-facing team in customer visits, negotiations, and act as a point of escalation for resolution of customer complaints and claims within the assigned region - Govern the use of established sales policies/guidelines and procedures among the selling team - Communicate the Company's vision and direction clearly to the client-facing team - Oversee the Limits of Authority (LoA) process to ensure compliance - Segment the market and cooperate with Strategy team, GSO team, and VP Region head in matters of strategic and tactical product and service positioning - Ensure Client Facing Teams are properly trained by the Product Line experts - Drive implementation of digital tools and ensure high efficiency by applying new technologies and processes Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in engineering, Marketing & Sales, or related field, ideally combined with an MBA or equivalent Sales & management experience - Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in sales or sales support, service business, or related field with a proven track record of driving operational excellence and customer satisfaction - Strong leadership skills and ability to develop and implement strategic plans - Excellent communication, networking, and relationship-building skills - Fluent in English, with additional languages applicable for the assigned region being an advantage - Willingness to travel Siemens Energy's Transformation of Industry division is focused on decarbonizing the industrial sector, increasing electrification, and efficiency with a commitment to sustainable processes.
