Head of Security

Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:

Security Operations & Management:

• Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and protocols.

• Oversee and coordinate all security activities to safeguard company assets, employees, and visitors.

• Manage access control systems, CCTV surveillance, alarm systems, and security patrols.

• Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities.

Staff Supervision & Training:

• Recruit, train, and supervise security guards and personnel.

• Conduct security briefings and ensure staff are aware of emergency response procedures.

• Monitor staff performance and ensure adherence to security protocols.

Risk Assessment & Crisis Management:

• Identify potential security threats and implement proactive measures to mitigate risks.

• Develop and test emergency response plans, including fire safety and evacuation drills.

• Coordinate with law enforcement and emergency response teams in case of security incidents.

Surveillance & Investigations:

• Monitor security systems, including CCTV and intrusion detection systems, for suspicious activity.

• Investigate security breaches, thefts, and incidents, preparing detailed reports.

• Implement corrective actions to prevent future security lapses.

Compliance & Documentation:

• Ensure compliance with local laws, industry regulations, and company policies.

• Maintain accurate records of security incidents, visitor logs, and staff access control.

• Keep up to date with the latest security trends, threats, and technologies.
