Job Title Summary Line

Drive new business and direct client sales across the US IT services market. Lead offshore delivery and managed outsourcing growth, partner with CXOs, and expand strategic accounts through India-based delivery models.

About the Role

We are seeking a highly driven Head of Sales / Business Development Director (US Market) to lead our US growth strategy by building strong Direct Client relationships and expanding our Managed Outsourcing Services and Offshore Delivery partnerships to India. This leadership role combines strategic vision with hands-on business development, focusing on helping US enterprises optimize delivery, costs, and scalability through India-based technology and talent centers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, pursue, and close Direct Client opportunities in IT Services and Consulting.
  • Drive sales initiatives for Managed Outsourcing and Offshore Delivery models (dedicated teams, BOT, managed projects).
  • Develop and execute go-to-market (GTM) strategies to position India as an offshore delivery hub.
  • Collaborate with Delivery, Solutioning, and Proposal teams for solution design and pricing.
  • Build and nurture relationships with CxOs, Procurement, and Vendor Management Offices across target enterprises.
  • Lead a team of Sales Managers, Proposal Writers, and Pre-Sales Specialists to achieve business goals.
  • Own sales targets, pipeline visibility, and revenue forecasts for the US market.
  • Represent the organization at key industry events and client meetings to strengthen brand positioning.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience in IT Services / Staffing / Outsourcing sales with a focus on offshore delivery and managed services.
  • Strong understanding of US market dynamics, contracting models (MSA, SOW, T&M, Fixed), and client acquisition cycles.
  • Established network with Direct Clients, GCC leaders, and enterprise procurement heads.
  • Excellent communication, consultative selling, and negotiation skills.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to work in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
  • Familiarity with solution selling, rate card creation, and proposal strategy.
