Head of Sales & Operations (Homecare Patna)

Medanta is constantly growing including launch of 'out-of-hospital' divisions which are comprehensive homecare services, pathology and pharmacy.

Role Objective

The Homecare Sales Head will be responsible for leading the overall Homecare business for Medanta Patna, with complete ownership of P&L, revenue growth, sales strategy, and operational excellence. The role focuses on building a sustainable and scalable homecare vertical aligned with Medanta’s clinical and quality standards.

Key Responsibility

1) Business & Revenue Growth

• Own and drive P&L responsibility for the Homecare vertical at Medanta Patna
• Develop and execute strategies to achieve revenue, margin, and growth targets
• Drive sales of homecare services including nursing, physiotherapy, medical equipment, diagnostics support, and other post-discharge services
• Identify new business opportunities and partnerships to expand homecare offerings

2) Doctor & Internal Stakeholder Engagement

• Establish and strengthen

  strong relationships with doctors and clinical teams

  within Medanta Patna Hospital
• Work closely with consultants, nursing teams, discharge desks, and care coordinators to ensure seamless patient referrals to homecare services
• Act as the single point of contact for all homecare-related coordination within the hospital

3) Operations & Service Delivery

• Oversee end-to-end homecare operations including manpower planning, service quality, and turnaround time
• Ensure smooth patient onboarding, service fulfillment, and adherence to clinical and operational protocols
• Monitor service quality, patient satisfaction, and resolve escalations in a timely manner

4) Team Leadership

• Build, mentor, and lead the homecare sales and operations team
• Set performance goals, review productivity, and drive a high-performance culture
• Ensure training and capability building for the team on product knowledge and patient-centric service delivery

5) Governance & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, statutory norms, and ethical practices
• Track MIS, revenue reports, cost controls, and operational KPIs
• Drive process improvements and cost optimization initiatives

Key Requirements

• Graduate / Postgraduate in Healthcare Management, Business Administration, or relevant field
• 8–12 years of experience in homecare, healthcare services, hospital sales, or healthcare operations
• Proven experience in P&L management and revenue leadership
• Strong network and ability to build long-term doctor relationships within a hospital ecosystem
• Excellent stakeholder management, leadership, and communication skills
• Entrepreneurial mindset with strong execution capability
