Job Description

As the Head of Quality Assurance, your role is crucial in maintaining world-class standards for precision, product reliability, supplier compliance, and customer satisfaction. Your commitment is essential in ensuring the delivery of accurate and dependable analytical instruments. Key Responsibilities: - Establish and implement a comprehensive quality assurance strategy aligned with business goals and compliance requirements. - Lead ISO 9001 compliance and certification audits to ensure adherence to international and industry-specific standards. - Foster a culture of quality and continuous improvement across departments, especially in manufacturing, R&D, and supply chain. - Collaborate with R&D to develop product validation protocols and approve the release of new products based on validation and reliability testing results. - Conduct FAIR for critical components, implement Green Channel procurement, develop Supplier Evaluation & Rating systems, and drive quality audits for suppliers. - Monitor adherence to quality standards at all manufacturing stages, define test standards, enforce in-process quality control standards, and oversee inspection processes. - Maintain and update all SOPs, test plans, and inspection documentation ensuring clear traceability of every lot or batch manufactured. - Lead root cause analysis for product rejections, implement and monitor CAPA effectiveness, and report rejection trends and quality metrics to senior leadership. - Identify and manage obsolete parts, collaborate with engineering for approved alternates, and establish systems for tracking and managing obsolete components. - Lead customer complaint investigations and responses, monitor trends, and lead proactive quality improvements. - Develop and mentor the QA team on tools like FMEA, SPC, and 5 Whys, foster a culture of quality, agility, and compliance, and organize periodic training on quality tools and standards. Required Qualifications: - B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical / Electronics / Instrumentation or related field. - 10-15 years of experience in QA, preferably in analytical/precision manufacturing. - Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, Six Sigma, FAIR, and quality management tools. - Software proficiency in Asana and SAP B1. - Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.,
