Job Description

  • Oversee and manage a highly complex product portfolio, keeping abreast with competition, trends, etc., and serving as a contact person for strategic opportunities for global major customers.
  • Develop globally executed product strategies in collaboration with the sales companies for the product portfolio.
  • Develop and manage global product ranges, ensuring compliance with product regulations, costs, quality standards and project plans.
  • Guide budgeting & sales for the portfolio over its complete product life cycle.
  • Support sales companies both technically and commercially, conducting internal product training to build strong global PS teams.
  • Analyze portfolio performance, and encourage corrective action in collaboration with marketing and sales departments as needed.
  • Monitor subgroup performance for portfolio, carry out deletions of underperforming or unprofitable products.
  • Navigate purchasing priorities, sales planning, inventory management, and work closely with the supply chain department.
  • Support quality management, understanding global legal, environmental and safety requirements, and cooperate with marketing department to define product marketing strategies.
  • Assign employees as per their qualifications, instructing and supporting them to complete their tasks in a goal-oriented way.
  • Guide and support employees in their function-related tasks.
  • Oversee the hiring process, sustain team performance, effectively evaluate and manage qualification demands.
  • Guide employees on targets, qualification improvement and potential development, promoting individual competence to meet departmental goals.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

  • Hold a bachelors degree in business, Marketing, or related field, with an MBA or masters degree being an advantage.
  • Possess a minimum of 15 - 18 years of significant experience in product management roles, demonstrating significant leadership roles.
  • Proven ability to manage complex product portfolios, with a successful track record in developing, launching, and managing products.
  • Exceptional leadership skills, with experience leading diverse and cross-functional teams.
  • Proficient in strategic thinking, with the ability to align product strategies with broader business objectives.
  • Experience in conducting market and competitor analyses, and the ability to transform insights into actionable strategies.
  • Adept in financial forecasting, budget management, and providing analysis around these parameters.
  • Strong project management abilities, capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Effective communicator, capable of liaising with global major customers and building and maintaining strategic relationships.
  • Excellent presentation skills, with the ability to communicate complex product strategies and results to a variety of stakeholders.
  • Compliance with all corporate policies, regulations, and legal requirements.
  • Ability and willingness to travel as needed.
