Job Description

Job Purpose

To lead and manage the overall operations of the diesel engine service business across the state, ensuring efficient delivery, profitability, and customer satisfaction. The position is accountable for the company’s P&L performance and for driving operational excellence in all service centers.

Key Responsibilities

· Take full ownership of the business P&L, ensuring revenue growth, cost efficiency, and profitability.

· Develop and implement operational strategies aligned with company goals and OEM partner standards.

· Oversee service operations including field service, workshops, spare parts management, and customer support.

· Build and lead a high-performing operations team through effective people management, performance evaluation, and training.

· Ensure adherence to all statutory, safety, and quality compliance parameters.

· Maintain strong liaison with OEM representatives, customers, and state-level agencies.

· Monitor key business metrics (turnaround time, service quality, revenue targets, warranty claims, etc.).

· Drive process improvement initiatives to achieve higher productivity and customer satisfaction.

· Manage budgets, supply chain efficiency, and vendor contracts to optimize resources.

· Lead strategic initiatives for business expansion, new technology adoption, and automation.

Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical / Automobile Engineering (Master’s preferred).

· Minimum 10 years of relevant experience, including at least 5 years in a senior operational leadership role preferably in the diesel engine, heavy equipment, or automotive service industry.

· Proven track record in managing service operations for diesel engines, generators, or similar equipment.

· Strong knowledge of financials, workshop management, and customer relationship management.

· Excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills.

· Good proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, PIVOT) and PowerPoint Presentation

· Good communication skills in Telugu, Hindi & English

Compensation

· Competitive salary with performance-linked incentives.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹100,000.00 - ₹125,000.00 per month
