An exciting opportunity awaits a seasoned Head of Legal to join a leading Real Estate client based in Mumbai. The company carries a rich legacy built on decades of customer and stakeholder trust. It is a prominent real estate company with a strong portfolio of 250+ landmarks, currently developing residential, commercial, and township projects.

Required Skills and Competencies:

• Qualification: LLB
• Experience: 15-20 years. Must have in-depth knowledge of all laws and compliance requirements related to the

  real estate sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Legal Counsel Management

  : Identify and manage relationships with legal counsel, reviewing their inputs and performance.

• Transaction Support

  : Provide legal support for land acquisition deals, including due diligence and dispute resolution.

• Business Initiatives

  : Oversee legal aspects of joint ventures and new business setups.

• Contracts & Vendor Relations

  : Review standard contracts, manage legal escalations with vendors, and provide legal opinions to other departments.

• Compliance Oversight

  : Ensure the group's compliance with real estate laws, assess the impact of legal changes, and coordinate with SBU and Function Heads for necessary course corrections.
