About the Role The Legal team at Revolut plays a crucial role in supporting various aspects of the business and collaborating with different teams across the organization. Revolut is seeking a Head of Legal to tackle challenging legal issues in the ever-evolving global fintech landscape, providing guidance on complex matters and high-priority initiatives. Responsibilities - Draft, review, negotiate, and provide advice on internal matters - Engage in negotiations with external parties for various commercial agreements - Identify and address legal risks related to product development - Stay informed about regulatory changes and guide internal stakeholders accordingly - Collaborate with external counsel on legal matters concerning new products and compliance - Develop operational processes for contract management and negotiation - Lead strategic deals, manage commercial relationships, and handle legal disputes - Ensure compliance with regulations through reviews, policies, and procedures - Offer timely legal support on a wide range of operational inquiries Requirements - 12+ years of PQE - Master's degree in law or equivalent - Strong academic and law firm background - Proficiency in English with excellent communication skills - Ability to make decisions under pressure and ambiguity - Collaborative mindset with leadership skills - Experience in complex transaction management and stakeholder interaction - Adaptability to a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment Preferred Qualifications - Expertise in financial regulations for electronic money institutions and banking services - Previous in-house legal experience In conclusion, Revolut is committed to diversity and inclusion, as reflected in its D&I Framework.
