Key Responsibilities

1. Talent Acquisition & Employer Branding

• Build and implement scalable hiring strategies for critical roles.
• Collaborate with founders and hiring managers to forecast workforce needs.
• Strengthen employer branding to attract and retain top talent.

2. Performance Management & People Development

• Design and roll out a robust performance management framework (OKRs/KPIs, quarterly reviews, continuous feedback).
• Partner with leadership to set clear performance expectations and align individual goals with business objectives.
• Introduce reward and recognition programs that reinforce high performance.
• Identify skill gaps and design training & career development pathways.

3. HR Strategy & Policies

• Establish HR policies, systems, and processes tailored to startup needs.
• Ensure fair and competitive compensation & benefits structures.
• Maintain compliance with labor laws and statutory requirements.

4. Culture & Engagement

• Champion a culture of collaboration, ownership, and innovation.
• Design initiatives to enhance employee experience and engagement.
• Drive diversity, equity, and inclusion programs.

5. People Operations & Analytics

• Oversee HR operations: payroll, HRIS, compliance, employee relations.
• Track and report key HR metrics (attrition, retention, performance outcomes, engagement).
• Use data to inform workforce planning and strategic HR decisions.

Qualifications & Skills

• 8+ years of progressive HR experience with at least 3+ years in leadership roles.

• Proven track record of implementing performance management systems.

• Strong expertise in HR operations, labor laws, and compliance.

• Ability to build HR processes from scratch in fast-changing environments.

• Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.

• Entrepreneurial, adaptable, and results-driven mindset.
