Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Management

  • Oversee and be accountable to the preparation of financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards (Ind AS, IFRS, etc.) and ensure for both Financial as well as Financial controls audit by Big4
  • Manage treasury operations, including cash flow planning, investments, and banking relationships
  • Lead and manage all aspects of financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis
  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to the Leadership / Board for strategic initiatives / decision making stakeholders
  • Work closely with the Leadership in terms of Pricing strategies, P&L handling, Project Budgets, Feasibility analysis, P&L Projections etc
  • Drive cost optimization strategies, CAPEX control and ROI-based decision-making
  • Be accountable to ensure the financial and non-financial hygiene in terms of controls from the perspective of Order to Cash, Procure to Pay and Inventory Management

Requirements

Compliance & Governance

  • Ensure compliance with all statutory requirements under the Companies Act, Income Tax Act, Transfer Pricing, GST, FEMA, SEBI (if applicable), and other applicable regulations
  • Lead internal and external audits, tax assessments, and regulatory inspections
  • Establish and monitor internal control systems, risk management frameworks, and compliance protocols
  • Liaise with legal advisors, auditors, and government/regulatory bodies
  • Promote a culture with strong ethics and compliance, across the organization

Corporate Affairs

  • Support Board and Shareholder meetings with financial reporting and regulatory disclosures
  • Drive timely ROC filings, Secretarial records and Corporate resolutions in coordination with the Company Secretary

Team Leadership

  • Build and lead a high-performing finance and compliance team
  • Promote continuous learning, development, and performance excellence

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Education: Chartered Accountant (CA); additional qualification like CS, MBA (Finance) is a plus
  • Experience: Minimum 12-15 years of progressive experience in finance and compliance functions of a Listed entity, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
  • Industry Preference: Experience in electronics, manufacturing highly preferred
  • Strong knowledge in Ind AS and applicable regulatory frameworks
  • Exposure to SAP HANA ERP system is must
