IBW brings together global leaders, investors, developers, and creators to drive meaningful conversations and business outcomes.

Role Overview:

We’re seeking a strategic and execution-focused Event Head to scale IBW into a globally recognized, high-impact Web3 conference. This role demands excellence across event production, P&L ownership, sponsorship leadership, and team building.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own and manage the end-to-end P&L for IBW, driving profitability through disciplined budgeting, pricing strategies, and new revenue streams.
• Lead sponsorship strategy and execution to achieve 30%+ YoY growth, ensuring value delivery for partners and long-term relationship building.
• Design and deliver a world-class, multi-format event experience that advances IBW’s reputation, reach, and business impact.
• Oversee all operational workflows including venue management, production, speaker programming, and tech infrastructure.
• Collaborate with marketing and creative teams to amplify brand visibility and ensure a cohesive event identity across channels.
• Build, mentor, and lead a cross-functional team across content, partnerships, ops, and growth, with clear KPIs and performance systems.
• Identify and scale new business opportunities — such as VIP gatherings, hackathons, or merchandise — to extend IBW’s influence and revenue.
• Ensure operational excellence, vendor alignment, and risk mitigation across all event activities.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in end-to-end event leadership with proven business outcomes.
• Strong expertise in P&L ownership, sponsorship development, and experiential brand strategy.
• Experience managing cross-functional teams in high-stakes, high-growth environments.
• Deep interest in Web3, innovation ecosystems, or venture/startup communities.
• Excellent communication, decision-making, and stakeholder management skills.

Nice to Have:

• Global event leadership experience (e.g., Devcon, ETHGlobal, etc.).
• Experience in VC ecosystems or community-first brands.
• Familiarity with Web3 tools and audience onboarding.
