About Aacrron

Aacrron Early Learning Centre is a progressive, child-focused preschool dedicated to nurturing young minds through Montessori principles, play-based learning, and holistic development. Position Overview

Head of Early Years

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Strategy

  • Lead, inspire, and mentor the teaching team to deliver high-quality early years education.
  • Develop and implement a child-centric curriculum aligned with Montessori and developmentally appropriate practices.
  • Drive innovation and excellence in teaching and learning outcomes.
  • Set clear goals and standards for the Early Years department in line with Aacrron’s vision.

Curriculum & Program Development

  • Oversee planning and execution of engaging, age-appropriate, and inclusive learning experiences.
  • Ensure alignment of activities with EYFS (or relevant frameworks), Montessori practices, and Aacrron's philosophy.
  • Integrate music, movement, art, nature, and sensory learning into everyday teaching.

Staff Development & Supervision

  • Conduct regular training, feedback sessions, and performance reviews for teaching staff.
  • Support teachers in creating a positive and reflective classroom culture.
  • Foster a collaborative, respectful, and growth-oriented work environment.

Parent Communication & Community Engagement

  • Build strong relationships with parents through regular updates, meetings, and workshops.
  • Address parent concerns with empathy and professionalism.
  • Represent Aacrron at school events, open houses, and community outreach initiatives.

Operational Oversight

  • Ensure health, safety, and well-being standards are consistently met across classrooms.
  • Collaborate with administrative teams for smooth scheduling, events, assessments, and resource planning.
  • Monitor classroom environments, documentation, and teacher-child interactions for quality control.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or related field.
  • Minimum 5–7 years of teaching experience in early years, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong understanding of Montessori pedagogy and progressive early years methodologies.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Passion for working with young children and guiding educators.
