Head of Digital

As the Head of Digital, you will be responsible for leading the digital transformation of the organization. Your role will involve developing and implementing digital strategies that align with the company's business objectives. You are expected to leverage your expertise in Smart Manufacturing, Industry 4.0, Digital Manufacturing, Analytics, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Augmented Reality, and Virtual Reality to drive innovation and efficiency across all operations. Your responsibilities will include leading the adoption of digital technologies such as Smart Manufacturing, Industry 4.0, Digital Manufacturing, Augmented Reality, Virtual Reality, AI/ML, Analytics, and Digital Analytics. You will collaborate with different departments to identify opportunities for process improvements and cost reductions through digital transformation. Providing leadership and coaching to the digital team, fostering an environment of collaboration and innovation will also be part of your role. To excel in this position, you must stay updated with the latest digital trends and technologies and assess their applicability to our business. Managing digital projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget, will be crucial. Working closely with the manufacturing department, with a special focus on discrete manufacturing and/or steel products industry, is also a key aspect of this role. You will be responsible for measuring and reporting on the success of digital initiatives, using these insights to drive continuous improvement. Promoting a culture of innovation and digital thinking across the organization and ensuring compliance with digital standards and regulations are essential tasks. The ideal candidate for this role should have a strong background in digital technologies, with a special emphasis on their application in the manufacturing industry.
