Role & responsibilities

The Head of Marketing wil lead the comprehensive marketing and branding strategy , overseeing a team of nearly 30+ marketing professionals. This individual will be responsible for driving brand growth, strengthening digital presence, enhancing communication strategies, and ensuring al marketing technology initiatives are in line with omni-channel business model. The role requires a deep understanding of luxury branding, leadership skills to manage cross- functional teams, and expertisein setting up marketing technology systems. It also demands a strong background in working with tech companies or ni digital-heavy environments.

Marketing Strategy & Leadership:

  • Lead and develop the overall marketing strategy , aligning with business objectives and sales targets.
  • Manage a team of 30+ professionals across digital marketing, Content & Photography, Marcom, PR and events.
  • Work closely with luxury brands to develop customized marketing

initiatives aimed at driving sales.

  • Lead both short-term and long-term brand-building efforts with a focus on positioning the brand as the leading luxury retailer in India.
  • Track luxury market trends and consumer behaviour to adjust strategies and stay competitive in the evolving landscape.

Digital Marketing &Omni-Channel Development

  • Oversee the development and execution of the online-to-offline marketing strategy, generating leads through digital platforms (Meta, Google, email marketing, etc.) and driving them to physical stores through effective customer engagement.
  • Build and enhance our omni-channel model, ensuring seamless communication between online lead generation, concierge services, and in-store fulfilment.
  • Develop data-driven marketing strategies utilizing analytics and customer insights to optimize marketing performance.

Marketing Technology (MarTech) Stack Setup:

  • Own the setup, integration, and optimization of the marketing technology stack, including CRM tools, email marketing systems, digital advertising platforms, and other relevant tools.
  • Ensure the alignment of marketing technology with lead generation, customer segmentation, and salestracking initiatives.
  • Work with external vendors and technology companies to implement and manage MarTech systems that align with business objectives.

Branding &Luxury Communication:

  • Develop and maintain the brand's voice and positioning, ensuring it aligns with the brand of the luxury brands.
  • Collaborate with creative teams to develop high-quality marketing materials, ensuring consistency in visual and verbal brand identity.
  • • Distinguish between luxury communication strategies versus mass-market approaches, ensuring a refined and sophisticated presentation across al channels.

Event, PR, and Partnership Management:

  • •Oversee the planning and execution of luxury events and brand collaborations, ensuring alignment with the brand and its partners.
  • Develop strong relationships with media, influencers, and brand partners ot increase visibility and brand presence.
  • Manage PR strategies to strengthen brand positioning as a luxury retailer within India and internationally.

Sales Alignment &Cross-Department Collaboration:

  • Work closely with sales teams and internal stakeholders to ensure that marketing initiatives are driving measurable business outcomes, including lead generation, customer conversion, and revenue growth.
  • Collaborate cross-departmentally to ensure alignment of goals and strategies across various functions, ensuring smooth execution of initiatives.
  • Develop reporting and analytics tools to track the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and provide actionable insights to the leadership team.

Required Skills &Qualifications:

  • 10+ yearsof experience in marketing, with at least 10years ina leadership role, preferably ni luxury retail or high-end consumer goods
  • Proven experience in buildingand managing amarketing technology stack (CRM, email marketing, digital advertising, etc.) and understanding of omni-channel models
  • Experience workingin tech companies or digital-heavy environments with a strong focus on digital communication and data-driven marketing.
  • Demonstrated experience working with luxury brands and the ability to craft high-end, discerning communication strategies.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to lead a large, multi- functional team.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience using data to drive marketing strategy and decision-making.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with creative teams, external partners, and internal stakeholders.
  • Deep understanding of India's luxury market and consumer behaviour.
