Key Legal Advisory & Risk Mitigation Serve as the principal legal advisor to the Board and senior management on all strategic matters. Draft, negotiate, and vet a wide range of agreements, including vendor, technology, partnership, and commercial contracts. Manage litigation, arbitration, regulatory investigations, and disputes; coordinate with external counsel while ensuring cost efficiency. Proactively identify legal risks and implement mitigation strategies aligned with business objectives. Compliance & Regulatory Governance Ensure compliance with SEBI, NSE, BSE, RBI, IRDAI, PMLA, Companies Act, and other applicable statutory frameworks. Act as the Principal Officer for Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and ensure timely filing of Suspicious Transaction Reports (STRs) and related activities. Maintain updated knowledge of regulatory changes and communicate their impact to the leadership team. Corporate Governance & Policy Leadership Advise the Board on corporate governance, ethics, and compliance best practices. Develop and implement internal policies (Code of Conduct, Insider Trading, POSH, Whistleblower, etc.) Ensure timely regulatory filings and secretarial compliance in coordination with the Company Secretary Team Leadership & Collaboration Lead and mentor a high-performing legal & compliance team. Collaborate cross-functionally with Risk, Operations, HR, Product, and Tech teams to enable business innovation within legal frameworks.
