Job Description

The Head Internal Audit will be responsible for providing independent and objective assurance on the adequacy and effectiveness of the organizations internal control environment, risk management framework, and governance processes. The incumbent must have prior experience working with listed companies and conducting audits for them, along with strong exposure to branch operations within the retail or fashion sector.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement the annual internal audit plan aligned with business objectives and regulatory expectations.
Conduct and oversee end-to-end audits, including scoping, fieldwork, testing, analysis, and reporting across head office and multi-branch retail/fashion locations.
Identify control gaps, recommend corrective actions, and ensure timely follow-up and closure of audit observations.
Assess internal controls, operational risks, process efficiencies, and compliance with statutory and corporate governance requirements.
Prepare clear, concise audit reports and present key findings to senior management and relevant committees.
Coordinate and liaise with external auditors for statutory and financial audit requirements

Key Requirements

15+ years of internal audit experience,
with proven exposure to audits in listed companies.
Strong experience auditing branch networks in the retail/fashion industry.
Strong understanding of internal controls, risk assessment methodologies, and audit standards.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
Superior communication, presentation, and report-writing abilities.
Proficiency in audit tools, ERP systems, and data analytics.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple audits simultaneously.
High level of ethics, objectivity, and professionalism
