Job Title: Head of Digital Department: Administration / Marketing / Technology Reports to: Director Location: Thane Experience : 8- 10 years of experience, 5 years as an Digital Head Job Summary: The Head of Digital is responsible for leading the digital vision and strategy of the K12 school, integrating technology to enhance teaching, learning, school communication, and student enrollment. This role ensures that the school leverages modern digital tools and platforms to deliver an excellent educational experience and maintain strong engagement with parents, students, and the wider community. Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute the school’s digital strategy across education, communication, and outreach functions. Manage and optimize the school website, parent portal, and learning management systems (LMS). Lead digital marketing initiatives for student recruitment and brand awareness, including SEO, social media, email marketing, and online advertising. Oversee digital communications including newsletters, parent messaging apps, and virtual events. Provide training and support to teachers and staff on the use of digital tools and platforms. Analyze digital engagement metrics and provide reports to leadership for continuous improvement. Ensure all digital platforms comply with data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, COPPA). Stay current with educational technology trends and recommend innovative tools for classroom and administrative use. Manage vendor relationships related to IT, web services, digital advertising, and learning technologies. Qualifications & Skills: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Digital Marketing, Educational Technology, IT, Communications, or related field. 8–15 years of experience in digital roles, preferably within the K–12 education sector. Strong knowledge of school-specific digital tools (e.g., Google Classroom, Seesaw, Canvas). Experience managing school websites, social media channels, and admissions campaigns. Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and project management skills. Understanding of child-safe digital practices and compliance requirements. Passion for education and empowering teachers and students through technology.
