Enterprise Security Research and Solution Development (ESRD)

Role Overview:

This role is critical in shaping the future of cybersecurity and system audit services through cutting-edge research and the development of AI/ML-enabled solutions and products.

Qualifications & Skills:

• B.E./B.Tech. in CS or related field. Master’s in technology/management preferred.
• 22–24 years of industry experience, including at least 5 years in a CTO/Head of Engineering/Head of R&D.
• Extensive experience in technology R&D and cyber security.
• Relevant experience in financial services desirable.
• Strong understanding of application development, databases, networking, technology infrastructure and cyber security technologies.
• Advanced knowledge of Technology Risk Management and cybersecurity.
• Strong background in software development, cybersecurity, and technology infrastructure
• Hands-on experience in building cybersecurity and AI/ML-based enterprise products.
• Deep understanding of technology risk management and cybersecurity controls.
• Familiarity with application security, system architecture, operations, governance, and privacy regulations.
• Exposure to banking operations, payment systems, risk, compliance, and financial services
• Professional certifications and published research or patents are highly desirable

Key Responsibilities:

• Establish ESRD as a core, high-performing research unit within the organization.
• Build and deliver cybersecurity solutions/products for Cybersecurity, System Audit, and Project Management functions.
• Lead the development of AI/ML-based applications and models across security domains.
• Build a high-performing R&D team and define robust processes and delivery models.
• Drive collaboration with COEs in Cybersecurity, System Audit, Data Science, and Technology.
