As a Cook at our company, your role will involve preparing and cooking a variety of homestyle Indian dishes, both vegetarian and non-vegetarian, as per the daily menu. Your responsibilities will include ensuring that the food is prepared hygienically and meets taste and quality standards. You will manage kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and packaging for delivery, while also maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen to adhere to food safety regulations. Additionally, you will plan and manage inventory to ensure fresh ingredients are always available. Collaboration with management to develop and refine the menu, monitoring portion control, and ensuring timely preparation and delivery of meals will also be part of your responsibilities. Key Responsibilities: - Prepare and cook homestyle Indian dishes according to the daily menu. - Ensure food is prepared hygienically and meets taste and quality standards. - Manage kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and packaging for delivery. - Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, following food safety regulations. - Plan and manage inventory to ensure availability of fresh ingredients. - Collaborate with management to develop and refine the menu. - Monitor portion control to minimize waste and manage costs effectively. - Ensure timely preparation and delivery of meals. Qualifications Required: - Proven experience as a Cook, preferably in a tiffin service, catering, or restaurant setting. - Knowledge of North Indian cuisine and other regional specialties. - Ability to cook in bulk while maintaining consistency in taste and quality. - Strong understanding of food hygiene and safety standards. - Time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently. - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet delivery deadlines. - Flexibility to work morning shifts and occasional weekends if required.,
