Role Overview We are looking for an experienced Head Cook with 5–6 years of experience in 3- or 4-star hotels , specializing in South Indian cuisine . The ideal candidate should bring expertise in preparing healthy, balanced meals that align with Ayurvedic dietary guidelines, while also ensuring high standards of hygiene, taste, and presentation. Key Responsibilities Plan and prepare daily menus in consultation with Ayurvedic doctors and management. Specialize in South Indian dishes while incorporating Ayurvedic cooking methods. Supervise and manage kitchen staff to ensure smooth kitchen operations. Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards in the kitchen. Manage procurement of ingredients, stock control, and minimize wastage. Ensure timely preparation and service of meals for guests and staff. Introduce innovative recipes that blend taste with health benefits. Qualifications & Skills Minimum 5–6 years of cooking experience in 3- or 4-star hotels/resorts. Strong expertise in South Indian cuisine ; knowledge of Ayurvedic cooking is an added advantage. Leadership skills to manage and train kitchen staff. Good knowledge of food hygiene, safety, and kitchen management. Ability to work under pressure and deliver consistent quality. Passion for healthy and sustainable cooking.
