About the Role

We are looking for a skilled and flexible All-Rounder Chef who can manage a small café kitchen efficiently. The ideal candidate should be comfortable preparing Indian meals, continental dishes, and quick café-style snacks. Someone who is clean, reliable, fast on their feet, and can handle daily operations independently.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook Indian dishes, simple continental meals, and snacks (sandwiches, burgers, pasta, fries, etc.)
• Maintain quality, taste, and presentation for all food items
• Manage daily mise en place, stock levels, and kitchen organization
• Ensure cleanliness and hygiene as per basic food safety standards
• Handle inventory, inform management for stock replenishment
• Maintain portion control and reduce wastage
• Work efficiently during rush hours
• Coordinate with service staff for smooth order flow
• Follow café recipes and maintain consistency
• Maintain kitchen equipment and report any issues

Requirements

• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in Indian + Continental cooking
• Ability to handle a small kitchen independently
• Basic knowledge of food hygiene and kitchen cleanliness
• Should be punctual, responsible, and calm under pressure
• Preferably someone comfortable living/working in hill stations (Jibhi/Dharamkot)
