Part-Time / Freelance Recipe Developer (Fries, Sausages, Momos & More) We are looking for a talented and hands-on Recipe Developer to help us create, refine, and scale recipes for a range of products including fries, sausages, momos, and other quick-serve items . This role is ideal for someone who loves experimenting in the kitchen, understands food science at a practical level, and can develop recipes that are delicious, consistent, and production-friendly. Role Overview You will be responsible for developing, testing, and standardizing recipes that can be used for retail, QSR, and/or packaged food applications. The role involves both culinary creativity and a solid understanding of ingredient behavior, textures, flavor balance, and cost efficiency. This is a freelance/part-time role with flexible hours. Work can be done from your own kitchen or at our facility (as required for testing). Key Responsibilities Develop, test, and refine recipes for fries, sausages, momos, and other snacks Create flavor variants, dips, sauces, marinades, and seasonings where needed Standardize recipes with accurate measurements, processes, and preparation steps Conduct trials to ensure consistency, taste, and scalability for small-batch or large-batch production Work closely with founders/operations team to align on taste, texture, cost, and feasibility Maintain documentation for recipes, ingredients, yields, and costing Stay updated on flavor trends, snack innovations, and market preferences Ideal Candidate Background in Culinary Arts, Food Technology, Hotel Management , or equivalent hands-on experience Prior experience in recipe development, QSR kitchens, packaged food R&D, or food innovation roles Strong understanding of flavors, textures, frying/steaming techniques, and ingredient science Ability to balance creativity with practicality and cost-effectiveness Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of running structured kitchen trials Passionate about comfort food, snack innovation, and experimentation Bonus Skills (Not required but nice to have) Experience with frozen foods, ready-to-cook items, or factory-scale production Knowledge of preservatives, stabilizers, binders, and shelf-life considerations Skills in plating, food styling, or basic food photography Ability to document recipes clearly for packaging/operations use Work Type Part-time / Freelance Flexible hours Remote + occasional on-site trials (if needed) How to Apply Send us: Your portfolio or examples of dishes/products you’ve developed A short note about your experience with snack foods or frozen products Your preferred working hours and consultation rates Job Types: Part-time, Contractual / Temporary, Freelance Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month Ability to commute/relocate: Thane, Maharashtra: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required) Application Question(s): What is your current monthly salary?
