Job Description

Key Responsibilities

1. Account Management & Growth

  • Manage and grow key strategic accounts.
  • Build strong, long-term relationships with senior client stakeholders.
  • Align service delivery with client business objectives.
  • Drive client retention and expansion initiatives.

2. Account Farming & Mining

  • Identify opportunities for up-selling and cross-selling within existing accounts.
  • Expand wallet share and develop new business verticals in current accounts.
  • Execute account expansion strategies to maximize revenue potential.

3. New Client Acquisition

  • Identify, prospect, and onboard new enterprise and mid-market clients.
  • Conduct market research to identify growth opportunities.
  • Lead proposal development, presentations, and deal closures.

4. Delivery Management

  • Ensure seamless delivery of staffing and project services.
  • Oversee recruitment pipelines and ensure SLA adherence.
  • Proactively manage escalations and ensure timely resolution.
  • Maintain high levels of service quality and client satisfaction.

5. Revenue & Profitability (P&L Ownership)

  • Own and manage monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets.
  • Monitor and optimize account-level P&L and gross margins.
  • Drive cost optimization while maintaining service excellence.

6. Client Engagement & Relationship Management

  • Conduct periodic client reviews and governance meetings.
  • Lead client engagement initiatives, reviews, and feedback forums.
  • Measure and improve client satisfaction, NPS, and repeat business.

7. Strategic Planning & Forecasting

  • Develop and execute business unit and account-level strategies.
  • Prepare revenue forecasts and quarterly operating plans.
  • Analyze market trends, competition, and risks to build counter-strategies.

8. Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with recruitment, delivery, finance, HR, and operations teams.
  • Ensure smooth coordination for delivery, billing, and workforce planning.
  • Drive continuous improvement and remove operational bottlenecks.

9. Compliance & Reporting

  • Ensure adherence to company policies, client contracts, and legal requirements.
  • Submit periodic business performance and financial reports.
  • Maintain accurate CRM data and documentation readiness for audits.

10. Team Leadership & Development

  • Lead, mentor, and develop account managers, delivery, and recruitment teams.
  • Set performance goals and conduct regular reviews.
  • Build a high-performance, client-centric team culture.

    Role & responsibilities

Preferred candidate profile

  • Bachelors degree in Business, HR, Marketing, or related field
  • MBA / PGDM in Business, Marketing, Operations, or equivalent (preferred)
  • 15+ years

    of progressive experience in Staffing, Recruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO), Talent Solutions, or Service/Consulting environments
  • Minimum 5 years

    in leadership roles with P&L responsibility
  • Demonstrated track record of scaling business units and achieving revenue targets
