Job Description

Job Title: OTBI / HCM Reporting Consultant

Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced OTBI / HCM Reporting Consultant who can develop,

enhance, and support reporting solutions within Oracle HCM Cloud. The ideal candidate will

have strong expertise in OTBI, BI Publisher, data models, HCM extracts, and HCM

analytics, along with hands-on experience across Core HR and other HCM modules. This role

requires a detail-oriented professional capable of working independently, validating data

accuracy, and collaborating with functional teams to deliver reliable reporting solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain HCM OTBI reports, dashboards, and analytics.
  • Develop and enhance BI Publisher (BIP) reports including layouts, data models,

bursting, and scheduling.

  • Create and maintain HCM Extracts, including outbound integrations and custom

delivery formats.

  • Work closely with functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into

reporting solutions.

  • Ensure data accuracy and consistency by performing detailed validation and

troubleshooting.

  • Support the business with ad-hoc reporting needs, analytics requirements, and data

insights.

  • Participate in testing cycles (SIT, UAT) and ensure successful deployment of reporting

changes.

  • Troubleshoot report issues, performance problems, and data discrepancies.
  • Maintain documentation for report design, logic, data sources, and functional notes.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience in Oracle HCM Cloud reporting.
  • Strong experience in:
  • Oracle OTBI (HCM OTBI, subject areas, analytics, dashboards)
  • BI Publisher (layouts, data models, bursting, scheduled jobs)
  • HCM Extracts and report integrations
  • Solid understanding of HCM modules such as:
  • Core HR
  • Absence
  • Payroll
  • Benefits / Compensation (added advantage)
  • Ability to perform data validation, analysis, and troubleshooting.
  • Good understanding of HCM security, roles, and data access for reporting.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work with global functional teams.
  • Experience working in support, enhancement, or implementation environments.

Work Details

  • Experience: Minimum 4 years required
  • Work Timings: 2nd shift approx. 1 PM to 10 PM IST
  • Engagement Type: Full-Time Employee (FTE) or Contract
  • Location: Remote / Offshore (as applicable)

Preferred Qualifications (Nice-to-Have)

  • Exposure to HDL, fast formulas, or HCM Integrations.
  • Experience with Payroll costing, SLA mapping, or advanced data modeling.
  • Prior experience supporting global HCM implementations.
