Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop interactive portlets using JSR-168/286 and Java/J2EE
• Configure, extend, and optimize workflows in HCL DX Workflow Manager
• Integrate workflows with WCM for approvals, publishing, and audit trails
• Implement personalized content targeting and dynamic user journeys
• Manage external system integrations via REST/SOAP APIs
• Develop UI components and customize themes for responsive experiences
• Troubleshoot portal and workflow performance issues and resolve defects
• Ensure portal and workflow security policies are enforced
  

Must-Have Skills

• Hands-on experience with HCL DX (v8.5/9.x) and WebSphere Portal
• Strong Java/J2EE, JSP, Servlets, and JavaScript programming background
• Advanced experience in DX Workflow Manager configuration and customization
• Deep understanding of WCM, personalization rules, and content syndication
• Expertise in integration using REST, SOAP, JSON
• Familiarity with WAS (WebSphere Application Server)
  

Preferred Skills

• Experience with SSO integrations (OAuth, SAML, LDAP)
• Familiarity with agile project methodologies
• Exposure to DevOps processes and CI/CD automation
