Hardware & Networking Engineer

As a System Administrator at Kelvin Jute Ltd., Titagarh (Near to Barrackpore), West Bengal, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support for Hardware & Networking issues. Your role will involve ensuring the smooth operation of computer systems, peripherals, and network devices by troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving hardware/network related problems. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining hardware inventory and providing timely and effective support to end-users. Your key responsibilities will include diagnosing and troubleshooting hardware issues on desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripherals. You will also be responsible for OS/Software/Printer installation, upgrading drivers, performing repairs, replacements, and upgrades on various hardware components, and resolving issues related to hardware performance, connectivity, and compatibility. In this role, you will provide technical support to end-users in-person until the issues are resolved. You will assist users in resolving hardware-related problems such as system crashes, data recovery, and hardware malfunctions. To be successful in this position, you should have a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in hardware support or a related technical support role. Experience with hardware/networking troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance is essential. Strong knowledge of Core Networking (Router, Switch, RF Device, WIFI AP) installation, configuration, and troubleshooting is required. You should have a solid understanding of computer hardware components and peripherals, as well as proficiency in diagnosing and resolving hardware issues. Candidates with experience in operating systems (Windows), software installation, network configurations, and connectivity troubleshooting will be preferred. Knowledge of CCTV systems is also desirable. Excellent communication and customer service skills are essential for this role, along with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong organizational and time-management skills will be beneficial.
