The ideal candidate will have in-depth expertise in network infrastructure, routing protocols, cloud networking, and automation technologies. The candidate should be a fast learner, capable of managing multiple priorities, and demonstrate strong communication and collaboration skills. Job Requirements BS degree in an engineering discipline or equivalent 510 years of relevant experience in network engineering Self-sufficient with the ability to grasp new technologies quickly Maintain awareness of current and emerging technologies Technical Expertise Core Networking: Thorough understanding of routing protocols (BGP, EIGRP, MP-BGP) TCP/IP, Multicast (PIM, IGMP, MSDP, GRE) DNS, DHCP, LAN switching Router/Switch architectures Protocols: HTTP, HTTPS, SNMP, SMTP, etc. Tools & Technologies: Wireshark and packet-level analysis Strong experience with multicast and real-time communication protocols Familiarity with network operating systems: IOS, IOS-XE, JunOS, EOS, F5/tmsh Cloud & Automation: Broader understanding of AWS and Azure networking concepts Scripting skills: Python, Perl, or other scripting languages Automation tools: Ansible, SaltStack Working knowledge of REST APIs, YAML, JSON Desirable Skills Optical networking and LAN switching Load balancers and wireless networks SAN (Storage Area Networks) NSX, Infoblox Linux systems administration Solid, intuitive understanding of WAN and LAN architectures Soft Skills Excellent oral and written communication Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues quickly Collaborative mindset with the ability to work across teams and stakeholders Strong time management and multitasking abilities

Role & responsibilities Key Responsibilities Azure Cloud Networking: Design, configure, and manage Azure Virtual Networks (VNets), Subnets, NSGs, and Route Tables . Implement and optimize Azure ExpressRoute, VPN Gateways, and Azure Firewall . Manage Azure Load Balancers, Application Gateway, and Traffic Manager for high availability. Configure Azure Private Link, Service Endpoints, and Virtual WAN for secure connectivity. Network Infrastructure Management: Deploy and manage on-premises and cloud networking components (Routers, Switches, Firewalls, SD-WAN, and Wireless) . Maintain hybrid connectivity between on-premises data centers and Azure Cloud. Configure and troubleshoot BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, and MPLS . Optimize network performance, redundancy, and security measures. Security & Compliance: Ensure zero-trust security models and implement Azure Network Security Solutions (NSGs, ASGs, DDoS Protection, and WAF) . Configure identity and access management (IAM) policies and role-based access control (RBAC) . Conduct network vulnerability assessments and implement necessary security patches. Maintain compliance with industry standards (ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, HIPAA, etc.) . Monitoring & Troubleshooting: Use Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Network Watcher for network performance monitoring and troubleshooting. Analyze network traffic and identify bottlenecks to improve performance. Troubleshoot Azure networking issues , connectivity problems, and cloud-to-on-prem issues.
