Job Description: Hardware & Network Engineer

Location: Sanath Nagar, Hyderabad
Salary: ₹50,000 per month

Position Overview

The Hardware & Network Engineer will be responsible for implementing, maintaining, and troubleshooting the organization’s IT infrastructure across warehouses and restaurant outlets. This includes LAN installation, wireless access point deployment, printer setup and maintenance, and administration of POS and inventory management systems.

Key ResponsibilitiesNetwork Infrastructure

• Install, configure, and maintain LAN networks including switches, routers, and structured cabling.
• Set up and manage wireless access points to ensure reliable connectivity.
• Perform network health checks, uptime monitoring, and performance optimization.
• Troubleshoot network outages, latency issues, and hardware failures.

Hardware Installation & Support

• Install, configure, and support desktops, POS devices, tablets, and peripherals.
• Set up, maintain, and troubleshoot KOT printers, billing printers, barcode scanners, and other warehouse/restaurant hardware.
• Conduct preventive maintenance for all IT hardware across locations.

Software Administration

• Administer, update, and troubleshoot POS and inventory management software.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and configurations.
• Coordinate with software vendors for escalations, updates, and integrations.
• Ensure smooth data synchronization between outlets, warehouses, and HO.

IT Operations & Support

• Provide on-site and remote technical support for branches and warehouses.
• Maintain IT inventory including hardware, accessories, and spare parts.
• Create and maintain documentation of network layouts, configurations, and support logs.
• Implement basic cybersecurity practices including access control and endpoint protection.

Coordination & Reporting

• Collaborate with Operations, Accounts, and Management teams to ensure uninterrupted IT operations.
• Escalate critical issues and track timely resolution.
• Prepare periodic reports on network performance, asset status, and system improvements.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Diploma/Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Electronics, or related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in hardware and networking support.
• Strong knowledge of:
• LAN setup, cabling standards, switching & routing basics
• Wireless networking and access point installation
• Printer installation & troubleshooting (especially thermal/KOT printers)
• Experience with POS or inventory management systems.
• Basic understanding of firewalls, IP addressing, and network security.
• Strong problem-solving ability and independence.
• Willingness to travel to multiple company locations.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certifications such as CCNA, Network+, or Hardware & Networking Diploma.
• Experience in retail, hospitality, or F&B industry IT environments.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
