Job Title: Counter Staff – Retail Shop Location: Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport, Andheri, Mumbai Job Type: Full-time Shift: 3 Rotational Shifts (Morning, Evening, Night) Passport: Mandatory Job Summary We are seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused Counter Staff to join our retail team at a premium Retail Store outlet located at Mumbai International Airport. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, maintaining product displays, handling billing, and ensuring a pleasant shopping experience for international traveler's. Key Responsibilities Greet and engage customers in a friendly and professional manner. Provide product knowledge, sampling, and assist customers in making purchase decisions. Handle billing, POS transactions, and cash/card payments accurately. Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the counter area at all times. Replenish stock, ensure proper display, and manage inventory levels. Ensure compliance with airport security and operational protocols. Cooperate with store team to meet sales targets and deliver high service standards. Work efficiently in 3 rotational shifts, including night duty. Requirements Minimum HSC (12th pass) qualification. Minimum 1 year of experience in retail or food counter service (bakery/sweets/premium foods preferred). Previous experience in food retail, hospitality, or customer service preferred. Basic knowledge of sales and POS operations Excellent communication skills in English; knowledge of Hindi and Marathi is a plus. Presentable and professional appearance with a customer-first attitude. Ability to stand for long hours and handle peak customer flow. Must hold a valid Passport (mandatory for airport pass issuance). Willingness to work in a 24x7 shift environment with rotating shifts. Airport/aviation/retail lounge experience is an added advantage. Ability to work in shifts, weekends, and holidays (as per airport schedule). Knowledge of hygiene and food safety protocols is an added advantage.
