Hardware & Network Engineer

Job Title Junior Hardware Engineer Employment Type Full Time Mode of Job On-Site Location Vadodara Department IT Reports to Key Responsibility Area (KRA) Computer Hardware Knowledge & Assembly ● Understand different computer parts and their functions ● Assemble desktop computers as per company or customer needs System Installation & Configuration ● Install operating systems and necessary software ● Set up Outlook and configure email settings for users Basic Troubleshooting ● Identify and fix basic issues in desktops and laptops ● Respond to hardware or software-related service requests Data Handling & Backup ● Take data backups as per customer requirements ● Restore data safely when needed without loss Networking Basics ● Share folders and printers over LAN within office setups ● Support users with simple network-related setups Key Performance Indicators (KPI) ● Timely and correct assembly and configuration of desktop systems ● Smooth execution of OS and software installations with minimal errors ● Effective resolution of basic hardware and software issues ● Proper configuration of Outlook and basic email functions ● Completion of backup and restore activities as per process ● Setup and functioning of network printer/folder sharing ● Adherence to task deadlines and quality standards Functional & Technical Requirements ● Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Hardware, IT, or related field ● Must have hands-on experience in installing, configuring, troubleshooting, upgrading, and restoring Windows 7, 8, 10, and 11 operating systems along with essential applications like MS Office and antivirus. ● Should be skilled in PC assembling, basic laptop repairing, system formatting, driver configuration,and multi-OS installation with a strong understanding of hardware components and diagnostics. ● Capable of installing and configuring servers, including Active Directory (AD), Domain Controller (DC), and DHCP setup, with a clear understanding of basic server and networking concepts. ● Willingness to learn and adapt to new tools or procedures Behavioral Skill Requirements ● Attention to detail ● Willingness to learn ● Strong analytics and problem solving ● Team collaboration and reliability ● Professional attitude and punctuality What is in for ME?
