Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Hardware Networking Employee to join our IT team. This role focuses on designing, implementing, and maintaining network infrastructure while also troubleshooting desktop systems, scanners, and printers to ensure seamless operation. The ideal candidate will have expertise in network hardware and hands-on experience resolving hardware and software issues related to desktops and printing/scanning devices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Network Infrastructure Management: Install, configure, and maintain networking hardware (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls, wireless access points) to ensure reliable connectivity.
  • Desktop System Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues on desktop systems, including performance slowdowns, connectivity problems, and system crashes.
  • Printer and Scanner Troubleshooting:
  • Resolve common printer issues such as print jobs stuck in the queue, printer offline errors, paper jams, and driver conflicts.
  • Address scanner issues, including failure to scan, connection errors, and driver-related problems, using tools like HP Print and Scan Doctor or Windows Troubleshooter.
  • Update and reinstall printer/scanner drivers, restart print spooler services, and verify network connectivity (USB, Wi-Fi, or Ethernet).
  • Network Monitoring and Optimization: Monitor network performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions to maintain high availability.
  • Hardware Maintenance: Perform maintenance and upgrades on desktops, printers, and scanners to ensure optimal functionality.
  • Security Implementation: Configure network security measures (e.g., firewalls, VPNs) and ensure desktop and printer/scanner systems are secure from malware or connectivity issues.
  • Documentation: Maintain detailed records of network configurations, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions for desktops, printers, and scanners.
  • Collaboration: Work with IT teams, vendors, and stakeholders to implement solutions and support business operations.
  • Compliance: Ensure all systems comply with organizational policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

  • Education: Diploma , ITI.
  • Experience: 2-5 years in network administration, desktop support, or hardware troubleshooting, including printers and scanners.
  • Certifications (preferred)
  • Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency with networking protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs).
  • Knowledge of desktop operating systems (Windows 10/11, macOS) and troubleshooting tools (e.g., Device Manager, sfc /scannow).
  • Familiarity with printer/scanner drivers (e.g., TWAIN, WIA) and software (e.g., HP Smart, Adobe Acrobat).
  • Expertise in network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Wireshark).
  • Soft Skills:
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work under pressure.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹9,011.47 - ₹15,000.00 per month
