Job Description

As a skilled and proactive Hardware and Network Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and supporting the organization's hardware systems and network infrastructure to ensure smooth connectivity, security, and performance. - Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, peripherals, and network equipment. - Monitor and manage network systems, including routers, switches, firewalls, and access points. - Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network connectivity issues. - Perform regular system updates, backups, and preventive maintenance. - Manage LAN/WAN configurations, IP assignments, and network troubleshooting. - Ensure network and system security through firewalls, antivirus, and access control. - Collaborate with vendors and service providers for technical support and upgrades. - Maintain documentation of configurations, assets, and incident reports. - Provide end-user technical support for system or connectivity issues. - Assist in IT infrastructure planning, installations, and performance optimization. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. - Minimum 1 year of experience in hardware and network support. - Strong understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, VLAN, etc.). - Experience with Cisco / Mikrotik / Fortinet / Ubiquiti devices preferred. - Familiarity with network monitoring tools and remote troubleshooting. - Knowledge of firewall and security practices. - Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. - Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities efficiently.
