Job Overview – Hardware Engineer

Nova Institute of Medical Sciences and Medical Research Centre is seeking a skilled, innovative, and detail-oriented Hardware Engineer to join our technical team. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of hardware design, testing, troubleshooting, and component-level understanding, with the ability to work collaboratively on system development and implementation.

Qualifications Required

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics/Electrical/Computer Engineering or related field (Mandatory)
• Experience in hardware design, embedded systems, or circuit development (Preferred)
• Prior experience with PCB design tools and hardware testing equipment is an added advantage

Roles & Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test hardware components and embedded systems
• Diagnose and resolve computer hardware issues (CPU, RAM, storage, peripherals, etc.)
• Troubleshoot Wi-Fi connectivity problems, network drops, and router/access point issues
• Install, configure, and maintain system hardware, printers, and related devices
• Analyze and resolve hardware malfunctions and support field issues
• Monitor system stability and ensure all devices are functioning properly
• Assist in component selection, feasibility checks, and manufacturing support
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety protocols, and quality requirements

Key Skills

• Strong understanding of digital & analogy electronics
• Knowledge of embedded systems, microcontrollers, and communication protocols (I2C, SPI, UART, CAN, Ethernet)
• Proficiency in PCB design tools (Altium, OrCAD, KiCad – preferred)
• Expertise in using testing tools (Oscilloscope, Multimeter, Logic Analyzer, etc.)
• Good knowledge of computer hardware maintenance and basic networking
• Ability to diagnose Wi-Fi and LAN issues efficiently
• Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills
• Ability to multitask, work under pressure, and manage multiple technical tasks
• Good communication and documentation skills
