Job Description

Hardware Engineering

Assist in assembling and testing sensor hardware, PCBs, and IoT nodes.
Support prototype bring-up and debugging using tools like multimeter, oscilloscope, etc.
Test and validate environmental sensors (air quality, water quality, soil, weather, etc.).
Perform soldering, wiring, enclosure assembly, basic PCB rework.
Run bench tests for battery, power supply, signal quality, and sensor calibration.
Work with firmware engineers for integration and functional testing.
Maintain documentation: test reports, device logs, hardware issue trackers.

Field Engineering

Travel to customer sites for installation and commissioning of Envitus devices.
Conduct site surveys to assess mounting positions, power sources, and connectivity.
Install sensor units, poles/enclosures, solar panels, gateways, and wiring.
Perform field-level diagnostics for power issues, sensor failures, and communication dropouts.
Replace faulty components and ensure system uptime.
Coordinate with the backend/cloud team during device onboarding.
