Job Title: Hardware Control Engineer – Industrial Automation Location: Wasuli, Chakan. Job Type: Full-time Department: Engineering / Automation Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically proficient Hardware Control Engineer to join our Industrial Automation team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the design, configuration, integration, testing, and maintenance of hardware systems used in automated manufacturing and industrial environments. This role is pivotal in ensuring that all hardware components operate efficiently and reliably within automation systems. Key Responsibilities: Design, configure, and maintain control hardware for industrial automation systems including PLCs, HMIs, SCADA, and industrial PCs. Develop and review electrical schematics, control panel layouts, and wiring diagrams. Collaborate with software engineers to ensure seamless integration between hardware and control software. Conduct hardware selection and BOM (Bill of Materials) preparation for control panels and automation systems. Manage procurement and inventory of hardware components. Implement and enforce hardware safety standards and ensure compliance with industry regulations. Perform testing, validation, and troubleshooting of hardware systems on-site and off-site. Coordinate with cross-functional teams including mechanical, software, and project management. Maintain accurate documentation for system configurations, updates, and revisions. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Industrial Automation, Mechatronics, or related field. 5+ years of experience in hardware engineering or control systems in an industrial automation setting. Strong knowledge of industrial control hardware (PLCs, relays, sensors, drives, actuators). Familiarity with hardware platforms from Siemens, Rockwell, Schneider Electric, etc. Proficient in E-CAD tools such as EPLAN, AutoCAD Electrical, or similar. Understanding of safety systems, EMC compliance, and industrial communication protocols (Ethernet/IP, Modbus, and Profant). Hands-on experience in control panel wiring and testing is a plus.
