About The Opportunity

Opportunity in the Insurance Technology (InsurTech) sector delivering core policy administration, claims and billing platform implementations for insurance carriers and MGAs. The role focuses on enterprise Guidewire implementations, configuration and integrations across the policy/claims/billing lifecycle.Primary Job Title: Guidewire Developer | Location: India | Workplace: On-siteRole & Responsibilities

Configure and implement Guidewire modules (PolicyCenter / ClaimCenter / BillingCenter) across the full project lifecycle—requirements ➜ design ➜ build ➜ test ➜ deploy.
Develop custom business logic using Gosu; design and build PCFs, rules, and data model extensions to meet product requirements.
Build and maintain integrations between Guidewire and third-party systems using the Guidewire Integration Framework, RESTful APIs, SOAP/XML and messaging middleware.
Troubleshoot, debug and optimise Guidewire performance and behaviour in development and production environments; apply patches and hotfixes when required.
Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, QA and onshore teams in Agile sprints; produce unit tests, integration tests and support UAT cycles.
Document technical designs, runbooks and deployment steps; support CI/CD and release activities for Guidewire deliverables.

Skills & Qualifications

Must-Have

Hands-on implementation experience with Guidewire PolicyCenter or Guidewire ClaimCenter (configuration & extensions).
Proficient in Gosu for implementing business logic and integration code.
Experience with Guidewire Studio and PCF development.
Working knowledge of Guidewire Integration Framework and building web services (REST/SOAP/XML) integrations.
Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases (Oracle / PostgreSQL) for data access and troubleshooting.
Proven ability to debug production issues and deliver stable fixes within release windows.

Preferred

Guidewire Certification (PolicyCenter / ClaimCenter / BillingCenter) or equivalent training.
Exposure to Guidewire BillingCenter, DataHub or other Guidewire ecosystem components.
Familiarity with Agile delivery, Git-based source control and CI/CD tooling (Jenkins/GitLab CI).
