Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Guest Handling

  • Welcome guests warmly and assist with check-in and check-out procedures
  • Provide accurate information about rooms, facilities, and services
  • Handle guest inquiries and resolve issues promptly
  • Maintain guest privacy, security, and satisfaction at all times

Front Desk Operations

  • Process registrations, room assignments, and key issuance
  • Manage reservations, cancellations, and modifications
  • Handle calls, emails, and internal communications efficiently
  • Coordinate with Housekeeping for room readiness
  • Update guest folios, post charges, and generate bills
  • Manage cashiering tasks: payments, refunds, cash handling, audit slips

Guest Relations

  • Upsell room categories and promote hotel services
  • Assist guests with transport, sightseeing, and concierge services
  • Handle special requests (early check-in/late check-out, amenities, etc.)
  • Log complaints and follow up until resolved

Administration

  • Maintain front desk cleanliness and grooming standards
  • Prepare daily reports as allotted
  • Ensure compliance with hotel SOPs, safety, and security policies

Qualifications & Experience

  • Graduate/Diploma in Hotel Management preferred
  • 0–2 years of experience in Front Office / Customer Service
  • Freshers with good communication skills can also apply

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Kollam, Kerala: Reliably commute or willing to relocate with an employer-provided relocation package (Preferred)
