Job Description

The role of a Client Accounting Senior Manager involves managing client accounts for Partner Firms, overseeing detailed bookkeeping tasks, and ensuring the accuracy of financial records. Your responsibilities will include reviewing and approving journal entries, account reconciliations, and other accounting transactions. This position requires a high level of attention to detail, exceptional organizational skills, and a dedication to maintaining client confidentiality. In terms of Quality Assurance and Compliance, you will be responsible for ensuring adherence to accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and internal policies, as well as relevant regulations and internal procedures. In the realm of Bookkeeping, you will lead a team of 10-15 Client Accounting Preparers and Reviewers, reviewing their work for quality delivery, overseeing day-to-day financial transactions, completing the posting process, and maintaining accurate records of financial transactions, including bank and credit card statements. Client Account Management will be a significant aspect of your role, involving managing and updating client accounts, delivering monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements to clients, and assisting clients with inquiries related to their accounts and transactions. As the primary point of contact for client inquiries and issues, you will provide clear and accurate information to clients, build and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and problem-solving. Identifying opportunities for process improvements in bookkeeping and client account management and collaborating with team members to refine accounting procedures and systems will be part of your responsibilities in Process Improvement. To qualify for this position, you should ideally hold a Bachelor's degree in accounting/commerce or a related field and possess a CA/CPA certification. Additionally, you should have 8-15 years of experience in US accounting, bookkeeping, or a similar role, experience in client account management, a strong working knowledge of US GAAP accounting principles and auditing standards, familiarity with both cash and accrual accounting, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, strong organizational and time management abilities, effective written and verbal communication skills, proficiency in bookkeeping software (e.g., QuickBooks) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook), and the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment, manage multiple tasks, and prioritize workload.,
